The Crescent
The Crescents is a duo group made up of Abu Khaleedah (QozeemKelani) and Sogheer (TajudeenWonuola Jnr.). Both brothers started as solo artists but came together as a group in March 2010. According to Abu Khalidah, "An-Nasheed is a new genre of music that consists of songs in English, Arabic and Yoruba languages." The group had live performances at the home of United States Consul General to Nigeria during an Iftar hosting at his Ikoyi residence and at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Whisper of Peace Eidfest, LTV/MICA Eidfest, Babs Salam Orphanage Home to mention a few. The Crescent performed at the MPAC National Convention 2011/2012. |

Muhammad Abdullah
Muhammad Abdullah is a Nasheed artist from Nigeria currently living and studying in Oxford. His first Album is upcoming with so much anticipation from the Muslim community in and around England and of course Nigeria. His songs are being produced by the world renowned Nasheed Artist Abdullah Rolle. He sings in Arabic, English with a dash of Turkish. All the songs contained in the upcoming album are backed by his vocals which are melodious and fit for the listening ear. Muhammad has a keen interest in Education, Philosophy, Islamic History and Theology which he studies with teachers in the United Kingdom and also in Nigeria. He leads Tahajjud at his home area mosque in Kaduna Nigeria for the past 2 years and also records Qur'an for spiritual purposes. Abdullah performed at the MPAC National Convention 2012. |

Abdul Azeez Oduyale
Abdul’ Azeez Shakirudeen is a Nigerian songwriter and singer of Nasheed, a Qari, an Arabic calligrapher and a sailor. He started writing and singing nasheed at a tender age and sings mostly in English but has some tracks in Arabic and Yoruba. His songs are mainly self-written, driven by emotion and the need to reassure people that turning and submitting to Allah are the things we need to make a wonderful world.
He has performed with a long list of local and international Nasheed artistes at many gatherings and events such as the Peace Train Concert 2013, MICA funfest, MSSN camps, MsMMi events, MPAC Convention 2013, iBeauty TV get-together and many more. His song I’M A MUSLIM is gaining airplay on Nigerian media stations and is the theme song of the IDEAL MUSLIMAH TV show. He is currently working on his debut album titled I’M A MUSLIM. |

Nurudin Ibn Idris
A revert and formerly “Victor Ayotunde”, Nurudin Ibn Idris accepted Islam in 2007. Before Islam, he was a keyboardist and a base guitarist. He left playing musical instruments immediately after accepting Islam and was later introduced to An-Nasheed by his teacher who explained to him the permissibility and the boundaries of Music in Islam. He has written many songs for children and adults.
His genre of music is Soul and has performed live at Islamic gatherings including MPAC National Convention 2011, Muslim Singles & Married, MICA funfair, MSSN Lagos, NASFAT children party, Aqsa Day event and many more. Nurudin is a Director/Content Manager at Salaam Studios. |
